For homework, please:
- Have a look at the infographics and the accompanying articles distributed in class today. Identify good vocabulary in both articles that can be used for other contexts. Make sure that you understand what the data is communicating in the infographics.
- Find 20 extra words/phrases to describe dynamics in graphs. We will be building a corpus of expressions in our next session. You can use freecollocation.com to help.
- Watch a video in British English, North American English and another English variety of your choice (i.e. three different videos) and "shadow" their pronunciation (meaning pause the video and repeat exactly what they said, trying to mimic their pronunciation and intonation)
