Kulturraumbezogene Wirtschaftsthemen, Homework for June 21st

For our last two sessions of the semester, make sure that you bring in any questions you have that stem from a) your class notes, b) feedback you've received on your essays and/or Teilleistungen, c) the class assignments, and d) the practice exam featured on Ilias. Since we'll be having a "Shark Tank/Lion's Den" presentation on Tuesday, June 21st, make sure you've familiarized yourself with the rules of that show prior to our Tuesday session. (Clips of the UK and US versions of the show are available on YouTube.)

Kompetenzerweiterung II (Tuesday/Thursday Group), Homework for June 21st

For homework, please review grammar units 21 and 25 and vocab unit 26 and these units' accompanying exercises. It would be a good idea to complete Reviews 11 and 13 and Progress Test 2, if you haven't done so already. (Don't be all or nothing about it: focus on the exercise types that present you with the most difficulty.)

If you have essays that you have submitted to me and not collected yet, please do so by the end of the semester. I take time with my corrections, edits, and feedback, so please do not let me have done this in vain.

Your last optional essay prompts include the following:

1. Is it ever OK to play favorites? (Make sure you understand what the idiom "play favorites" means before answering this prompt.)

2. What does it mean to be truly free?

Submit this printed-out or hand-written essay of 250-350 words to me in class on June 21st. Only submit an essay in class on Tuesday, June 21st if you can commit to picking it up at our last session on Thursday, June 23rd. IF YOU CANNOT COMMIT TO THIS, DO NOT SUBMIT AN ESSAY.
