Finally, since flags were on this past Wednesday's menu of topics, I thought I'd share some pictures with you of the desserts I served at my party at the Institute this summer for my German permanent residency ;) (the blue and white is for the flag of Vorpommern). Our dear secretary in the literature department then proceeded to wrap me up in a German flag and said "Jetzt bist du eine von uns" :) :
