For homework, please:

- make sure to bring the "best sense" articles with you to class on Monday as we will discuss the homework from that then.

- complete the rest of the exercises for Unit 1 (either in your book or from the photocopies from class).

- read and learn the vocabulary from Unit 2 (pp. 12-13 in the book or from the photocopies from class) in the following sections: "topic vocabulary: thinking", "topic vocabulary: learning", "word formation". Make sure you know how to use the words in sentences.

- complete the exercise sheet on participle clauses.
