For homework, please: 

·       - watch the following video Is magic real? | Derren Brown | Big Questions - YouTube Which answer did you find most compelling? Why?

·       - have a look at the file ("PhilosophyPastPapers") with the philosophy exam questions from the entrance exam to All Souls’ College at Oxford University and select three questions (you’re welcome to change them slightly) that you will pose to your debating partner in our next session. Many of the questions are very specific, so skip those and move to the ones that can be answered spontaneously/don't require any specific knowledge

·       - read the file “understanding and having ideas” and complete exercises 25.1 and 25.2 from the “understanding and having ideas exercises” file

- read the file “linking sounds” and complete exercise 26.2 from the “linking sounds exercises” file 

- read two more resources and listen to two more resources connected to your prepared debate question. Take notes as you read and listen
