2) read the file “suffixes and word stress” and complete exercises 13.1 and 13.3 from the “suffixes and word stresses exercises” file
3) read the file “Should passion be a job requirement” and be ready to debate this question in our next session
4) watch this video (minutes 4-7 are most relevant for the debate question) Malcolm Gladwell explains why he avoids face-to-face job interviews | SVT/TV 2/Skavlan – YouTube and be ready to debate the question “Should employers do away with face-to-face job interviews?” in our next session
5) watch two videos and read two articles related to your prepared debate question (if you opted for a third spontaneous question, then read two articles from an opinion section of a periodical and watch two videos connected to an contemporary issue that is currently under debate). Take notes, paying close attention to the vocabulary these materials use and their strongest points (whether you ultimately agree with their main claim(s) or not). Bring these findings with you to class.
