- complete all exercises on pp. 184-185
- find a poorly written essay/article and bring it with you to class (ideally it's coming from a journalistic source and is not a the result of googling "poorly written essays" because these are often pupil essays, which are not the level we want to look at); make sure you can articulate what specifically is poorly executed in it
- visit the TED talk website and watch one talk of your choice: https://www.ted.com/
