For homework, please:

· - read the “contracted forms” file and complete exercise 27.2 from the “contracted forms exercises” file
- read the “structuring and talking about arguments” file and complete exercises 10.1-10.4 from the “structuring and talking about arguments exercises” file
· - read the article entitled “nothing to hide is wrong” and highlight what you consider to be the strongest arguments in text (whether you agree with them personally or not)
· - browse the New York Times’ Room for Debate page, Good Morning Britain’s “most heated debates” playlist and/or the Oxford Union’s YouTube channel for two debate questions that you will bring in for your partner to debate during the second Thursday session
