For homework, please:
- complete exercises A-D on pp. 62-64 of the textbook.
- watch a video from one of the BBC Sport playlists and write down useful verbs featured in the video: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCW6-BQWFA70Dyyc7ZpZ9Xlg/playlists?disable_polymer=1. Are any of them synonyms from pg. 60's topic vocab?
- there are very specific verbs in English for action and movement (e.g. sneer, scoot, twitch). Make a list of 10 highly specific verbs.
- read through the grammar descriptions on pp. 170-171 and complete exercises A-D on pp. 172-173.
- complete all of the exercises on the worksheet "verbs we commonly use in the passive" distributed in class.
- complete the top two execises on the worksheet "exam practice 3" distributed in class.
