Registration for the exam has now started on PSSO. Please make sure that you register to take the exam with me. You must be registered electronically in order to take the exam in January.
For homework, please:
- read the article "Where you sit and where you stand" distributed in class (out loud!) and do the following:
a) look up all of the words you don't know
b) identify all of the arguments/points made by the author
c) be prepared to debate the question "Does architecture have a significant effect on our environment?" in class next week
- watch the following video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HuGj5n_vYz4 and:
a) outline the points made by Lovelock in your own words
b) what proposals/assumptions do you find sensible and which ones do you not?
c) be prepared to answer the question "How can we save humankind?"
- complete the exercises on the discussions and the pronunciation exercise handouts
