For homework, please:
- have a look at the graphs distributed in class today and sketch 1) an outline for a presentation for each and 2) write down five ways of describing the data in each graph.
- read the transcript on the "discussions" handout distributed in class aloud.
- complete exercises 54.1 and 54.2 on the handout distributed featuring the acupuncture patient. Complete the exercises by testing the sentences out loud.
- read (aloud!) the pro/con debate distributed in class (the question is: Should alcohol be banned on airplanes?) and highlight all of the points you find valid.
