Kompetenzerweiterung I, Monday/Wednesday Group, Homework for November 27th

Registration for the exam has now started on PSSO. Please make sure that you register to take the exam with me. You must be registered electronically in order to take the exam in January.

For homework, please:

- complete exercises A-D on pp. 62-64 of the textbook.

- watch a video from one of the BBC Sport playlists and write down useful verbs featured in the video: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCW6-BQWFA70Dyyc7ZpZ9Xlg/playlists?disable_polymer=1. Are any of them synonyms from pg. 60's topic vocab?

- there are very specific verbs in English for action and movement (e.g. sneer, scoot, twitch). Make a list of 10 highly specific verbs.

- read through the grammar descriptions on pp. 170-171 and complete exercises A-D on pp. 172-173.

- complete all of the exercises on the worksheet "verbs we commonly use in the passive" distributed in class.

- complete the top two execises on the worksheet "exam practice 3" distributed in class.
