For homework, please:
- read a "long read" from a news outlet like the Atlantic or the Guardian (which sorts this type of article into a separate section and includes podcasts: https://www.theguardian.com/news/series/the-long-read) and 1) summarize its content/message, 2) jot down/highlight the most interesting data/examples it employs, and 3) outline an essay that you write that was inspired by it or the questions/ideas that you had that arose from it. Please bring all of these notes with you to our next session.
