For homework, please:
- read pp. 122-123 and complete exercises A-F on pp. 124-125
- complete the progress test on pp. 102-105 (all exercises)
- complete the "Great War" text and check your answers here: https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2018/nov/10/conceptual-art-great-war-memorial-installation-poppies
- find an opinion article or a video whose stance you do NOT agree with and sketch an outline of a response you would make, including your thesis statement
- in your journal, write 10 sentences using -ing or infinitive verbs from pp. 186-187
- in your journal, write a 250-word response to the question "What are the qualities of a good memorial?"
