Do a search for US political cartoons (current or historic, your choice) and find cartoons that include the "toolkit" elements discussed in class today, including:
-folk knowledge
-idioms/plays on words
-holidays
-metaphor/analogy
-pop cultural references
-stereotypes
Searching for certain topics in combination with "political cartoons" in a Google Images search can be very helpful. Here are some other sites with political cartoon sets:
